REFLECTION
Experience
This is another level of challenge to me to be honest, it didn't go well at the beginning as I faced a lot of troubles like redoing the whole thing and it took me a lot of time. Luckily, it became better later as I become more alert to the task requirements and be proactive in asking questions.
Observation
Throughout the semester, I observed that visual hierarchy is very important in typographic design, from typographic system to the final task, which is the font application, hierarchy is always that thing we need to consider when it comes to typographic design. A design must follow certain rules like visual hierarchy to become a better version of design.
Findings
There is a thing I want to mention that I have learnt from this module, that is always observe the surroundings. Before the task Type and Play, I would have never thought that we can extract letterforms from objects like leaves, walls etc. Through this task, I learnt that observation from surroundings can help me in getting ideas and inspirations for more possible outcomes of design.
