REFLECTION

This is a pretty fun module in my first short semester in Taylor's University. Although it is a seven-week short semester, I have learnt a lot of new things - Design Principles, throughout the semester. Other than that, I have learnt to analyze an artwork, from visual and deep into its background. The thing that I enjoyed the most in this module is the exploration towards the artwork that I have chosen for Task 1 and Task 2, it feels great to discover the meaning and purpose the artists wanted to convey as you look into their artwork. However, I did not enjoy the progress of looking for the artwork as my Task 1 because I did spend a lot of time finding the suitable artwork that fitted the requirements - related to UNSDG goals and applied design principles.

To be honest, the thing that I have learnt about myself through this module is that I am interested in discovering artwork that has purpose and it is meaningful. I think I still have the same opinion on receiving feedback from lecturers which is a very important progress in design, but the thing has changed is besides online lectures from my lecturers, I should also work on self-study with online resources. Overall, this module is fun and interesting, and I think it is better to have more information towards the UNSDG goals to raise awareness among the students.
